Parenting with Heart
Parenting is the final frontier.
It’s the place where we unlock who are.
It’s the place where our children grow us up, raising us as we raise them. It’s also the place where we lose our car keys a lot. And our patience.
And our perspective. On some days, our hope.
And then, through the miracle of relationship, we find all of them.

I am in the process of unlocking who I am and it can be directly credited to the work I do as I grow into the parent I want to be for my boys. There are days I am inspired beyond measure and I feel so in love with who I am as a Mama and the family that I have created. There are other days where I am hard on myself, feelings get hurt, and old wounds from my past surface which I hadn't thought about since I was a child myself. As I nurture my children, I also find it in my heart to nurture myself.
